Want to know what the best Boston theater is? The most wonderful (and the most unusual) orchestras, choral groups, festivals, museums, art galleries and everything and anything cultural, from downtown all the way down to Cape Cod?
As the writer of this app, I have lived in Boston for 42 years, have sung in several choral groups, used almost every library, enjoyed all the theatrical productions, covered all the best parties in all the best galleries and museums (as society reporter for the Boston Globe), watched my daughter (singer/songwriter Juliana Hatfield) go to the best rock music school in the world and thrive performing in the clubs here before she went worldwide) and enjoyed what I believe is the most cultural city in our country (yes, that includes the Big Apple, where I lived before I moved to Boston, and I happen to know, from first-hand experience, that Boston has more early music groups than New York, for one. I think we have more colleges, too, which influence spills over from the classrooms and fills our city with "wicked awsome cultcha," to use the local dialect.
